CLUB MEETING VENUE - Added Sept 2009

The venue for the club meet has changed to:

   The Dog Inn

   Nr Heighington                             click for map.!

   DL2 2TX

Its very easy to find just follow the A68 north from the A1M - it's about 5 miles from the motorway right on the side of the A68..

AUGUST EVENT - Added May 2009

Due to this event falling on the bank holiday weekend,  and as previous efforts have always had poor support, it has been decided not to hold an event in August.

BOOKING IN FOR EVENTS - Added October 2008

Nick has being trying to encourage members to book themselves in for events, most members do this but some are still just turning up on the day, which makes it difficult for organisers. So from the October 2008 meeting, anyone who turns up on the day will have to pay £10 extra on top of the entrance fee - Far less than the price of a phone call to Nick or you can email or book in on the forum.

PASSENGERS AND CO-DRIVERS - Added October 2008

From the October event all passengers and co-drivers will have to be members of the club OR pay a days fee of £5 to cover insurance etc.

FAMILY MEMBERSHIP - Added October 2008

Because of the Passengers and co-drivers rule above affects club members who bring their family members to events, we are creating a new family membership costing £15 per year. This will cover immediate family only, not second cousins once removed, or great aunty Alice.

Members who have recently joined or renewed their membership for August 2008, who want to change to family membership can just pay the extra £5 and I will amend their membership. Future membership form will be amended to accommodate this change.

NON MEMBERS AT EVENTS - Added March 2008
Anyone who wishes to enter an event ran by Raiders Off Road Club (who is NOT a member of the club) must pay £5 on top of the entrance fee to cover the costs associated with that event. Alternativley, you can join the club, which is currently £10 for the year.
